What the sequence shows
The calendar moves across three scales. The September 14–20 route uses the Moon’s changing position against background stars. The equinox is about Earth’s orientation to the Sun. The September 26 grouping is an apparent alignment: the Moon and planets look close from Earth even though they are separated by enormous distances.
That distinction matters because “near” in a sky guide usually describes angular position in our line of sight, not physical distance. In South Florida, buildings, trees, coastal geography and cloud cover can determine whether those low-sky views are open at the relevant time.
